Well, i can only speak for HAL's ms Amsterdam although i think they've implemented these products onto all their ship cleaning in the past year.

One thing they dont show on the site was the best thing i thought. Liquid hand cleaner thingys were here and there all over our ship. Some worked automatically when you passed your hand under the spout while others you had to pull the lever to receive a teaspoonful of product which you then rubbed briskly until it dried. Also, at the entrance to the dining room an employee held a container and squirted it into your hand as you entered the room. This stuff is a special hydrogen peroxide disinfectant that theoretically kills germs.
Then theres also the handwipe cloths which are used to place on the door nobs to open the door. A trash container is nearby so you got the door open then dropped the cloth into trash while holding the door ajar with your elbow, foot or whatever. These wipes are unlike baby wipes in that they're smaller and thinner.
All of the public restrooms had both products and i think most women used them although just like anywhere else you see women using the restroom then leaving without even washing. I hate to admit it but i've become quite a Michael Jackson regarding cleanliness and fear of germs when i'm out and about (you wouldnt know this if you saw my home)
One thing i really liked about the hand wipes is that they stayed wet for a long time. This is something i can use in my art studio as i always need a wet one so i'm going to order some from this site. I brought a couple home (dried out of course) I guess i'll try painting, ironing them etc to see if i get any special artistic effects.
